Individual Office Space with Partition Walls

Is it possible to provide individual office space?

If each and every employee in an office is provided a separate office space it is good; however this is not practicable in all businesses. Large companies having employee strength of hundreds or thousands will be finding it extremely difficult to provide separate office space for all of them. Is there a possibility of providing individual office space to maximum number of employees without financially straining the company’s financial resources?

Yes, it is possible. If you divide the office using partitions in walls you can provide separate office space for maximum number of employees at affordable price. Under such circumstances the companies can plan for an open office. You need to determine your individual specifications and requirements before starting a renovation plan.

Working in Privacy

The market is flooded with many types of these product designs suitable for office space. Such partitions can easily be dismantled, moved around, reassembled in a short period for accommodating the company’s growth. These types of designs are akin to creating a setting that makes the employee get his/ her comfortable office space.

If full privacy is not mandatory you could provide wall partitions with three walls and commercial office doors. In this situation there will be visual privacy; but the employees will not be separated completely. What is the extent of privacy these partition walls offer?

This is dependent on the sort of partition that is being used. Some three-sided partitions are just sufficient to accommodate the desk of the employee with extra space for his moving around; his/her back will be facing the walkway. The height of these partitions can be high or just cover the employees’ head or lower than that. Some partitions are large enough for the movement of the employee and no door is provided. As compared to an open hall without wall partitions this gives limited visual privacy; this does not provide acoustic privacy. It could reduce some noise as well.

Single Wall Partitions

If you find that the privacy offered above is more or it the area available in the office building is less for available number of employees you could look at another option. Provide only a partition of single wall. These types of partitions are erected facing the employees wherein two employees face one another. There is hardly any privacy in this arrangement but the employees can work in peace without feeling that they are being watched. However employees sitting on both sides and also behind can watch without any problem; it is also possible that someone can stand on the rear side of the employee and observe what he is doing.

It is possible to provide individual office space for employees by erecting such a sophisticated system at a price that is cost effective. This option is what every enterprise would love to jump at right? Of course, as quality meets price, so does décor factor into importance.
